Common Materials Used

 

 Polycarbonates – Polycarbonate films offer excellent clarity in various thicknesses.  High heat resistance and superior dimensional stability for graphic overlays.  Data Graphics most common material, polycarbonate provides a good look for your product along with durability.  Many polycarbonates are chemical resistant.

 

 

 

 Polyesters – Data Graphics carries a broad range of Melinex and Mylar polyester materials in the industry.  Whether it’s a super clear film treated for graphic printing , thermally stabilized for circuitry, matte and hazy films for general industrial purposes, or printable white opaque polyester for label applications – Data Graphics has the right choice.  Polyester comes in a variety of thicknesses, so inquire with your sales rep a solution that may be right for you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Vinyls – Flexible vinyl is top coated for improved ink adhesive, coated with a permanent acrylic adhesive designed to produce high quality economical markings, labels, emblems and signs. This material can be screen printed, digital printed, flexo or hot stamp printed.  Great for indoor or outdoor use.

           

Pressure Sensitive Adhesives – A wide variety of 3M laminating adhesives are available.  Depending on your application, thickness requirements and how aggressive you need the adhesive to be, Data Graphics has several 3M adhesives that can meet the specifications you require.

 

 

 

 Metal Photo – Durable and long lasting quality, MetalPhoto nameplates and labels function perfectly for years, maintaining their original good looks under a broad variety of challenging environments, including high temperatures, long term outdoor exposure, abrasion, salt spray and most chemicals.  Typical uses are military and aerospace applications.

 

 Aluminum – Anodized aluminum is a durable material.  Finishes can be satin or matte.  Typically used with outdoor applications, Data Graphics applies adhesive to the back of the label or punches holes in the label for you to put rivets through. Typically used with outdoor and/or harsh applications.

 

 

 

 Autotype - The Autotype polyester film range offers some key benefits over polycarbonate. The hardcoat on the films provide excellent scratch and chemical resistance. The switch life of the films exceed 5 million actuations even when embossed. Ensuring the MTS works throughout the life time of the equipment. The film ranges are available with a textured or gloss surface.
